Terms of service

1. Who we are

ShuttleArc ("ShuttleArc", "we", "us") is run by its founding team in India. You can reach us at hello.shuttlearc@gmail.com.

2. What ShuttleArc is

ShuttleArc is a platform for badminton players and coaches. It offers match analysis from video you upload, coach discovery and booking, sparring games and related tools. The service is in beta, so features can change, and some features may be unavailable or incomplete.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create an account and to make payments. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set up and supervise the account.
• Give accurate information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Players and coaches

Coaches on ShuttleArc are independent. They are not our employees or agents. A coaching session is an arrangement between the player and the coach. We provide the platform for finding, booking and paying for sessions, but we do not run or supervise the sessions themselves and we do not guarantee any result from coaching or analysis.

Coaches must give truthful details about themselves and their sessions, and must provide payout details that belong to them.

5. Bookings and payments

• Prices are set by coaches and shown in Indian rupees before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details.
• We collect the payment when you book. After the session is completed, we pay the coach.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our refund policy.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos and other content you upload. You give us permission to store, process and analyse it, and to show results to you and to anyone you choose to share them with, so that we can provide the service. You confirm you have the right to upload it, including the consent of other people who appear in your videos.

7. Match analysis

Analysis and reports are automated and based only on the footage you provide. They can be incomplete or wrong, and each report states the limits of what the footage shows. They are for information and training. They are not medical, physiotherapy or professional coaching advice.

8. Playing safely

Badminton is a physical activity. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to play or train, and for your own safety at sessions and games. Sparring games are arranged between players, and we are not responsible for what happens at them.

9. What you must not do

• Break the law or use ShuttleArc to harass, threaten or deceive anyone.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is harmful or abusive.
• Try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with how the service works.
• Take payments or bookings outside ShuttleArc to avoid its policies, where the booking was made through the platform.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using ShuttleArc at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. If we close an account, any session you have already paid for will be handled under our refund policy.

11. Our responsibility

We work to keep ShuttleArc running and accurate, but the service is provided as it is during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for the conduct of coaches or players, or for injury or loss arising from sessions, games or training. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. When we make an important change, we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using ShuttleArc after a change, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India, subject to any rights you have as a consumer.
